Privacy policy
Beta version, last updated 2026-11-03. We will update it after legal review and tell you about important changes.
This policy explains what personal information AI Matching Network (dmlytics.com) collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. The service is operated by a company registered in Canada, which is responsible for your information. Questions or requests: privacy@dmlytics.com.
1. What we collect
- Account: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account id, name and email. If you tell us what you're looking for (for example Dating or Astrology), we keep that choice to decide what to show you first.
- Profiles you create: what you choose to add for each category, such as a headline, bio, location, photos, dating preferences or professional details. For astrology, your birth date, time and place.
- Conversations with agents and the answers you confirm for your profile. If you allow it, preferences agents remember between conversations.
- Matching and connections: likes, passes and feedback on matches, connections, and messages you send to connections.
- Safety: blocks, reports, and the results of automatic moderation of messages.
- Payments: what you bought, when and for how much. Card details are entered with Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Creators: your application (display name, bio, expertise, social links), your agents and the knowledge files you upload. Identity and bank details for payouts are collected by Stripe.
- Technical: IP addresses in security logs, browser and device details in error reports, and the cookies described below.
- Where you came from: a referral code or campaign tag in the link you used, and an anonymous visitor id.
2. How we use it
- To run the service: your account, agent conversations, profiles, matches and connections.
- To keep people safe: moderation, reports, blocks, and preventing fraud and abuse.
- To take payments, pay creators their share, and keep the records accounting and tax law require.
- To send account and security emails (always) and product updates (only if you allow them).
- To understand and improve the service, using usage analytics only if you allow them.
- To show creators totals about their agents (for example visits and sales). Creators never see your conversations, answers, likes, matches or birth data.
3. Your choices (consents)
Everything below is off until you turn it on, and you can change it at any time in Settings → Privacy:
- Use my profiles for matching. Without it, we don't use your profiles to suggest people.
- Show my dating profile to other people. Without it, nobody sees your dating profile and you get no dating matches.
- Let agents remember my preferences between conversations.
- Product updates by email.
- Usage analytics.
Each profile also has its own visibility setting. Likes stay private: the other person only learns about a like when you both like each other.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information or use it for advertising. We share it only with:
- OpenAI, to generate agent replies, check messages for safety, and search creators' knowledge files.
- Stripe, for payments, subscriptions and creator payouts.
- Resend, to deliver email.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Hetzner, which hosts our servers, database, files and backups in Helsinki, Finland.
- Sentry, which receives error reports so we can fix problems.
- Other people on the service, only as your profile visibility and consents allow.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect someone from serious harm.
Some of these providers process data outside Canada and the EU, including in the United States. We use providers that commit to protecting it, and their laws may give local authorities access to it.
5. How long we keep it
- We keep your information while your account is open.
- When you delete your account in Settings → Privacy, we immediately delete your profiles, photos, conversations, matches, connections, consents and sign-in sessions.
- A few records stay without your name or email: payment records (required for accounting and tax), safety records such as reports and moderation results, and security log entries that contain only internal ids.
- Data export files are deleted 7 days after they are created.
- If you try an agent without an account, we keep that chat for 24 hours so you can keep it by signing up; otherwise it is deleted.
- Backups are encrypted and replaced over time; deleted information is gone from them within about five weeks.
6. Your rights
- Access and copy: download your data from Settings → Privacy (you get a ZIP file).
- Correct: edit your account and profiles at any time.
- Delete: delete individual profiles, photos and conversations, or your whole account.
- Withdraw consent: turn any consent off; this doesn't affect what we did before.
- For anything else, or to object to how we use your information, write to privacy@dmlytics.com. We answer within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or, if you live in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.
7. Cookies and browser storage
- cs_at, cs_rt: keep you signed in (up to 30 days). Required; not readable by scripts on the page.
- cs_vid: an anonymous visitor id that counts visits to agents (1 year).
- cs_attr: the referral code or campaign tag of the first link you used, so creators get credit for referrals (30 days).
- Theme: your light or dark mode choice, kept in your browser's storage.
We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
8. Security
Connections are encrypted, passwords are hashed, sign-in tokens live in protected cookies, and access to personal information inside our team is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach puts you at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
9. Age
The service is only for people 18 and older. If we learn that someone younger has an account, we delete it.
10. Changes
We will update this policy when the service changes and tell you about important changes in the app or by email before they apply.
